The who, what and how of the primary phase
To initiate the project, I delved into comprehending the website purpose, followed by defining clear goals and objectives. Once the target audience was identified, I started the design process by creating a sitemap outlining the website's hierarchical structure. The next step was to create a moodboard to help the client visualise the overall look, feel and aesthetics of the website.

Iterating on the layout and Art Direction
The next step was to create a basic layout that offered an idea of the website, multiple variations were crafted. These designs were tailored to align with the client's vision and narrative, ensuring the site's structure resonated with their desired story. After a thorough review with the client, I incorporated the received feedback, solidifying the foundational layout of the website. With the base layout finalized, the subsequent steps in designing the rest of the site were set in motion.

Foundation laid, building the rest of the website
Building upon the mood board and chosen direction, I delved into crafting the visual design of the website. Throughout this phase, the client remained closely involved, with regular updates at every step of the journey.
With interaction being an important aspect, all design decisions were taken with focus on the potential interaction that would be possible.

Interactions and Animations make a website
During the initial research phase, I had collected inspiration and explored latest trends in interactions. Using prototyping tools, I translated my concepts into interactive prototypes, allowing me to test and refine them iteratively.
I had the most fun when I was involved experimenting with bezier curves. I spent considerable time fine-tuning the curves to achieve the perfect balance of smoothness and responsiveness. After rounds of refinement and testing, the interactions and animations were integrated into the website design seamlessly.
